Stephen O’Rourke graduated with a BA in Fine Art and a BA in History of Art and Fine Art from the National College of Art and Design, Ireland in 2008. He spent the next two years trying to develop work and idea until 2010 when he returned to education. He is currently studying a Masters in Art in the Digital world at the Nation College of Art and Design Dublin. Stephen is keen on establishing himself as a fine art printer in Dublin.
Stephen’s work has appeared in various exhibitions throughout Dublin; (2011) MFA/ADW Interim Show,
(2011) BYOB at Moxie studios, Ncad Degree Show Ncad (2008), Fusion Boutique (2007), Playground (2007), Junk N’ Jetsum Group Show (2007), and the Ncad Group Show (2006).Stephen is a member of Boards.ie, which recently launched it’s very own photography year book. The Book, ‘Boards.ie’, is a collaborative effort showcasing the work of some of the photographers from the Boards.ie photography forum from the past year. All profits generated from this tome will go to the Santa Strike Force charity.
